Key Highlights

Opportunity to partner in a novel H2S remediation technology pilot.
Seeking undervalued oil & gas wells with H2S issues for field trials.
Specific geological, depth, and completion criteria provided for candidate wells.

Description

This listing is a request for opportunities to acquire low-producing or undervalued oil & gas wells that exhibit H2S (hydrogen sulfide) issues. The acquirer is seeking these wells to serve as field-pilot sites for demonstrating a novel, low-cost, reservoir-level H2S remediation technology. The technology is designed for lasting remediation and can be applied through multiple modes. The initial focus is on Phase I pilot candidates that require minimal operational disruption and low treatment volumes. Specific target geological characteristics include matrix permeability dominance, mid to high permeability, single zone or isolated formations, low gas-to-oil ratio, SS (sour service) preference (though good carbonate formations may be considered), and minimal water production with high initial water saturation (Swi). Preferred depth is up to 5,000 ft. H2S levels should be above the FERC cutoff of 5ppm or nuisance levels for corrosion. Completion requirements include the ability to pump down backside or tubing without pressure pumping, with a siphon string being a plus, and the ability to shut-in for a minimum of 4 hours. Interest also extends to multi-well gathering systems or tank batteries if they impact crude sales and pricing.
